Training at PURPAN

PURPAN is involved in all aspects of higher education and bachelor’s, master’s and PhD courses.

Every year, the school welcomes over 1,600 students to its various courses from three to five years of higher education. They are open to students who have just graduated high school as well as those with two or three years of higher education.

PURPAN’s training courses provide access to employment in France’s leading sector (14% of jobs), and more than 300 professions.

Summary

Agro-Bachelor

Bachelor of Science and Engineering in Sustainable Agriculture and Agri-food.

Three-year higher education course (180 ECTS).

  • Two years of core courses
  • One-year apprenticeship specialization

Diploma awarded by PURPAN Engineering School, enabling students to rapidly enter employment and offering the possibility of further study. It is equivalent to a Bachelor of Science degree.

Engineer

Five-year higher education course in life sciences, agriculture, agri-food, marketing and management.

  • Three years of core courses (first cycle)
  • Two years of specialization (second cycle)
  • Apprenticeship available from the third year

Engineering degree issued by PURPAN Engineering School, equivalent to a Master’s degree.

Professional training

Ongoing training sessions

Organization of one- to three-day sessions on current political, technological, legal and economic topics.
These sessions are open to the professional world and can be tailored to suit the target audience.

In-company training

Companies in the agro-industrial, agricultural, environmental and rural sectors can request PURPAN in-company training sessions, bringing together the skills and expertise of the PURPAN Group’s research professors and partners.
